This was a realization for me (Karri) on Wednesday night at Brayden's 3 Year Old Choir program at FBC Abilene. For someone that sang out of my mothers womb, logic would tell me Brayden will be the same. Brayden sings in the car and at home...all the time. Sometimes he answers back in song. When it comes to programs, where is my performer? I always wanted my child to sing the loudest and do the hand motions as BIG as possible. To my parents who think 99% of the time this child has no behavioral issues, I now have proof on the camera that Brayden has a little bit of me in him (no laughing, dad)!
The choir did three songs. My child has on the cream colored shirt. My child is the one running around on stage, jumping off of the stage and barrelling down the aisle needing one more kiss and hug.

Cute performance, at least he wasn't crying. Blake was the one with intense hand motions in his program. There's just something about the 3 year olds performing, you never know what to expect.

Karri,
Um, Brayden performed, just not the way you expected. *wink*
Merry Christmas, sweet friend,

I thought he did PERFECT!!!
You know, it's one of those things you'll get out and watch a thousand times and laugh!!!

If it makes you feel any better, Jonas’s first program he stood there and started making burp noises. The whole congregation laughed, so he kept on doing it. Now he performs just fine, and enjoys it. He even had a solo this year. There is still hope! Funny people who are not the parents! J

I agree with Marsha, it will be one of those movies you end up playing over and over and each time you nearly wet your pants with laughter. But don't give up, he will grow up to be the leader of his choir and have a great voice like his dad and mom.
After all I am a proud Nana.
Love you guys!!
Saw it - I think it's cute that he kept coming back for hugs. Too cute!

The BIG question I have received is what did we tell Brayden after the program? We said great effort!
